When a lawn mower specifies “Grasscatcher included”, does that mean that picks up the trimmed grass?

I really don’t know anything about lawn mowers and i’m trying to buy one online. I’d like a lawn mower that picks up the cutted grass. Thank you for your advice.

It means it has one of those bags attached behind or to the side that collect the clippings.

yep, includes a mulch bag so you don’t have to rake or whatever you do with the grass trimmings after mowing and they are all over the yard.

That is what it means. I woudl recommend getting a mulching mower with a REAR bagger, so that you can mulch or catch.

    it’s a bagger & they are a pain in the ***

It means it has an attachment that will collect the grass as it is cut, and eventually clog the exit chute from the lawnmower with a sodden mat of clippings. If you get one of these, you just need to keep an eye on it and empty the clippings every once in awhile so you don’t put a strain on the motor.

Yes, but you should get a lawnmower that can mulch the grass, cutting it into small pieces that star behind to help add nutrients back into the yard. It reduces the amount of yard waste you have to send to the dump. You should be able to have to catch your mower clippings only 1 or 2 times a year.
Why don’t you go to Sears or Home Depot and see what’s available first hand.
