One bucket overfills, the others don’t fill all the way, then the tube clogs because the overfull bucket disrupts the airflow.
It mulches when it’s clogged but shit also starts to shoot out between the connections in the tube, filling the air around you with dirt, pollen, and other bullshit.
But at any rate, I comment you for not resorting to all caps this time around.
@MistaX8 There are three buckets, and one tube. If all three buckets are full, you either empty it or clog the tube. Once the tube is clogged it will just mulch anyway
Thanks for the review. You just saved me $350 and a ton of frustration. I understand that you probably shot this video in a fit of rage, but I know exactly what you feel, I’ve been there. You spend a ton of money on piece of junk and it doesn’t work. I have been leery of buying this bagger just by the looks, and I think you have convinced me to save my money.
just a thought maybe just move the full one to the empty ones position and keep on mowing. im not the sharpest tool in the shed. so is this what i have to look forward to when i install my 2 bucket bagger on my 15 horse chraftsman rider??
Yep, it’s a piece of shit, the only reason i have the crapsman mower is cause it was free and i had another motor for it, i am throwing the whole bagger setup on craigslist to see if i can get any of my $325.00 back, i drive slow and did everything right, it just does not work worth a fuck.
yea i can agree on that to just this last friday i was cutting lawn and the grass was about 5in and i was cutting a 3 1/2in and i still hade to drive slower than hell
Lawn Mower isn’t mine, I was just forced to mow the lawn with it and this video was a spur of the moment thing. The mower has 6 gears, I keep it in 3 while mowing. The tube clogs up all the time, and it gets even worse if there is any moisture on the lawn.
i have the 3 bin bagger on my 52in 27hp husqvarna with high lift blads. i have had it for about a year know and i cut up to 120 acers a week with is and i have no problems with it. the first problem you have is that you own a crapman lawn mower. and second how fucking fast you going because you can drive full speed because than the fucking tube will get pluged up. and just to let you now i run my own lawn cutting business. so id go to ur nearest husqvarn dealer and buy a husqvarna ull like it
all you really need to do is take a hacksaw and cut a small section off the end of the intake tube in the bagging area to make the ejection angle flatter. Your problem is the fact that the grass is being shot to the other end of the bagger, maybe rivet on a piece of sheet metal angles down to stop it from shooting to the other end of the bagger. This will make a more even distribution of grass in the bins (pretty effective, and free-i just did it to mine and it works great!)
Great! I just picked up a Craftsman 17.5 HP lawn mower and decided to spring and get the two bagger because of all the pine needles I get on my lawn. If I can at least suck those up, I’ll deal with the bags not filling up completely.
Nice. Just got one used, looking forward to fighting with it. The 2 bin bagger is not much better, same thing; left bin fills and the right one only fills like 1/4 the way. Then grass just starts oozing out the top until you look at your lawn covered in grass clippings and say “WTF!?” BTW, i hold the tubes together with a bungee cord!

I think I know why grass all blows to the left bin. Encountered same problem when I made a Toro run faster. Try backing off a little on the RPM’s.

Effective review. I was thinking of buying this product, read some reviews that agree with this review.

The lawnmower itself is great. It’s just the bagger on it that sucks. It works better on some days than others.
